Relative sizing
Consider having a glass of water and a bucket of water, if you are sizing you could estimate with fair amount of certaininty the number gallons of water in them. Now consider having to estimate the number of gallons of water in a Lake, So we see that as the problem becomes bigger our capability to size it correctly diminishes very quickly. So you could say this mountain loks twice as big as this one easily.
